Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2024-12-21T20:00Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
Activity ID: 2024-12-21T20:00:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Note Keyword:
GAP: Data gap
PRM: Prominence material (filamentary structures)
Source Signature Keyword:
FIL: Filament eruption
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
Morphology Keyword:
LS: Loop and Shock Candidate
Note: Bright loop CME first seen in the NE by SOHO LASCO C2 beginning at 2024-12-21T20:00Z, as well as by SOHO LASCO C3 in later frames. This event is not visible in STEREO A COR2 due to a data gap beginning at 2024-12-21T11:39Z. The source of this CME is a filament eruption seen just beyond the NE limb in GOES SUVI 304, along with wide opening field lines seen in GOES SUVI 284.

The List of CME Analysis already entered:
Event Type Catalog
Measurement TypeCME measurement type: Leading Edge (LE), Shock Front (SH), Right Hand Boundary (RHB), Left Hand Boundary (LHB), Black/White Boundary (BW), Prominence Core (COR), Disconnection Front (DIS), Trailing Edge (TE).
Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
